The church is one of the mountains under God's Kingdom. Who's monitoring the other six mountains.

It's not for the city to keep the christian community moral, but for the christian community to keep the city moral.

The 7 Mountains of our society.

Each mountain is affected by each of us all the time. Everything we do intersects with one of them. God made man to 'tend to His garden' (Genesis 2:15  And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.)
which includes all seven mountains

of our society.

All the earth is God's. All seven  mountains are His. He sits in the highest place

as King over all.

If the Christian Community will work together throughout the USA, God will change our city, county, state, and country.

Origin of the 7 Mountains

The first recorded reference to the Seven Mountains originates with Bill Bright, the founder of Campus Crusade. In 1975, Bright was having lunch in Colorado with Loren Cunningham (who founded Youth with a Mission). Both men had been given a dream by God, containing a message to give to the other. That message was about Seven Mountains of influence. Francis Schaeffer received a similar message from the Lord at about the same time. All three believed that in order for the church to impact the world for Jesus Christ, it would be necessary for it influence the Seven Mountains of society.

CCU Mission

Stand up for morality and put Christ at the top of each mountain. To reach out into the community with more than just our words but through action show the love of Christ to all people. This outreach will begin to appear in all seven of the cultural areas of society which will affect not only that area of our daily lives, but will have tremendous positive impacts for all the people of the community, which will positively affect the city, the county, and the state.

Each of these seven areas or ‘mountains’ will be headed up by God fearing individuals who have a heart for that mountain. There will be from one to dozens of faithful persons for a mountain, depending on the mountain that is targeted.

You Will Make a Difference

If you don't like the direction our society is going in each of the mountains, you can help change it.
Ask yourself, who is the primary influence in your community ?
Do the elected leaders in public offices have high moral values ?
Is your school board made up of ethical moral individuals ?
Are your businesses honest and trustworthy ?
Does the media and entertainment place morality and truth as one of their guidelines ?

You can help others to be the influence for a more righteous community.

The 7 Mountains
Isa 2:2  And it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Jesus will be at the top of each of the cultural areas of the Seven Mountains, in the latter days.

Matthew 28:18 – 19 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

When Jesus said “go and make disciples of all nations”, the key word is disciples. Like discipline, comes from the Latin word discipulus, meaning “pupil” or “learner”, a disciple is one who disciplines himself in the teachings and practices of another. So it is with the disciples of Christ. A disciple follows Jesus.

When Jesus called His first disciples, He spoke the simple words, “Follow me” (Mark 1:17; 2:14; John 1:43). A disciple is a follower, one who trusts and believes in a teacher and follows that teacher’s words and example. Therefore, to be a disciple is to be in a relationship. It is intimate, instructive, and to be mentored to be like the teacher. Consequently, being a disciple of Jesus Christ is being in relationship with Jesus—it is seeking to be like Jesus. As Paul wrote in (1 Cor. 11:1) “Be ye imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.” In other words, we follow Christ to be like Christ. As His disciples, we belong to Christ. The disciple of Jesus has certain traits that are commensurate with a relationship with Jesus.
Jesus was saying “make disciples of all nations”, that is make the nations to follow Jesus in words and example and to be like Jesus. The nations are the cultures of that country’s society or the ‘Seven Mountains’ that need to be discipled to be like Jesus.

Jesus did instruct us to be “salt” and “light”, and to go into all the world, and the New Testament is overflowing with instructions that we are to influence the culture, not be influenced by the culture. In that sense, the “Seven Mountains teaching” is totally biblical.

To become a disciple of Christ and disciple the nations goto 7 Mountains.

About CCU

Our society and culture, large or small are under attack from evil. As the body of Christ, the Christian community must stand up for morality and put Christ at the top of each mountain. If Christ is not the head in every aspect of our society (every mountain), what is the purpose of the Christian community? Isn't this what Jesus told us in Mat 28: 18-19. The church being the gathering place of Christians must stand together, and work together to fulfill what Jesus told us to do, through unification.

So why ‘unify’. Unify is defined as “different things or parts, or if the things or parts unify, they are brought together to form one thing. Being unified we are in agreement as a whole where as united is being joined together into a single entity” as united, with Christ. So, unite means to bring together (as one). Unify means to actually make one.

What we mean by 'work together'.

It all begins at the 'grass roots level', with each individual working to fulfill what Jesus told us to do. Work means "be engaged in physical or mental activity in order to achieve a result; do work:" We must join forces to be effective and to overcome the evil in each of the mountains of our society. We must think how to change the culture in each of the seven mountains, not just the city. Of course we should help each other physically as the need arises and support other cities and churches when under attack, and most importantly, by prayer. As the Christian community we must work together.

We must promote involvement in leadership of solid christian individuals, at all levels. We need leaders who are Godly people to help guide us so we have someone to turn to when we do come under attack. We need to be recognized by the individuals, cities, government, country, and world,  that we will not sit back and be forced to adhere to rules and regulations which contradict and are dishonorable to the Word of God. We need legal representation availability of CCU members. We need financial availability. We need the individuals of every church congregation and every Christian to stand up for Christ. The whole body without fear of retaliation by people, business, or government.

We will not be politically or financially motivated and will firmly be led by the Word of God through Jesus.

We must be unified.

1 Cor 12:12-14 12 For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. For also by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free, even all were made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.

Gal 5:13-15 For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

Luk 11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
